SYSTEMLINK3 from RCA is a universal remote controller. The unit can be
programmed for most of the equipments on the market.
It is an economic alternative to going back to the original equipment
manufacturer when a unit is lost or broken. On top of that, it combines
functions of three separate remote controllers, TV, VCR, and Cable box, into
one.
However, there is a catch. It has to be programmed. Worse yet, it
loses the programming when the battery is out. If you are not one of
those who keeps all the manuals at a place and remember where like my father
is, you will be in trouble. I should know. I was in that
trouble.
